Gertjan Medema

Active ambassador

Medema has long been an active member of IWA, participating on boards, organising conferences and editing scientific journals. Recently, Medema was appointed Chair of the IWA Health-Related Water Microbiology Specialist Group. This fellowship means that Medema, for the forthcoming period, will be even more active as IWA ambassador in helping water professionals create innovative, pragmatic and sustainable solutions to challenging global needs.
